Hugh Wilson

Hugh Wilson is a painter living in Princeton, New Jersey. He has traveled extensively in remote and marginalized locations, making intimate portraits from life. He spent six years traveling in the deserts of Africa, through rural working class America, on islands in the South Pacific, and with migrant workers both in the Central Valleys of California and the sugarcane bateyes of the Dominican Republic. He is currently working on a book of his travels.
