Lara Naughton’s writing has appeared in The Sun, Salon, Guernica, Refinery29 and Bustle, among other publications. Her work includes the documentary stage play "Never Fight a Shark in Water: The Wrongful Conviction of Gregory Bright," and memoir "The Jaguar Man," published by Central Recovery Press. She is a certified Compassion Cultivation Trainer, and Chair of Creative Writing at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.
